Coping With Incarceration

The Rockbridge Regional Jail sits on the treeless side of Greenhouse Road just north of Lexington, between the highway department garage and a recycling center. It was built in 1988 for 56 inmates.
Christen Pennington, of Lexington, is serving time for credit card fraud; Boris Grims, of Mesquite, Texas, is in for stealing a tankful of gasoline for his tractor trailer from a service station in Rockbridge County. This is a story of how they cope with confinement away from their loved ones.
